Keeping your body fueled right is the key to getting the most out of your workouts. Your body is ready to do amazing things, but if you don’t give it the fuel it needs, you won’t get a great performance. Over time, your progress will be slower than you want. The good news is, your body is ready to make the most of what you give it. That means, when you fuel it right, you can get amazing results.

You have many, many options when it comes to foods that will make your workouts better. In our last blog, we explored olive oil, legumes, and lentils. Today, we’re going to look at avocados and kale.

Avocados

These fruits are fantastic sources of potassium and will regulate your water balance and help you recover from heavy workouts. They contain many monounsaturated fats that help you absorb important nutrients from other foods. Simply pair an avocado with any food you want to get the most out of!

Kale

Kale has been very popular lately, but don’t dismiss it as fad food. Because it contains protein, iron, and vitamin K, it builds muscle, maintains muscle, and fights inflammation. By keeping it in your diet, you will be able to keep your weight down and your muscle development going.
